Ch-Ch-Changes…We’re going through changes! As you may already know, the band has a new guitarist, Brad. Welcome Brad! We are enjoying working with Brad with his creativity and his sensitivity for worship leadership. On Easter we introduced a new composition of his called Claim the Cross. Bonnie helped him fine tune the music and chords. It has become one of our favorites to present. You also may have noticed a new voice in the group! We put a mike in front of Steve, our drummer, and he is joining us on vocals.
Sadly, we learned that Greg, who played with us for over two years and had to leave due to back problems, has recently been diagnosed with cancer of the throat and mouth. He will begin chemotherapy and radiation treatments soon. We hope you will keep him in your prayers.
This was the first year that the Mothers’ Class was asked to sponsor and assemble a Father’s Day Bulletin. We appreciated your support and help in collecting 409 names.
So far our class has given $5000.00 to the Sanctuary Fund and $1500.00 to the Organ Fund. The money collected from this Father’s Day Bulletin will be saved and added to a larger donation to the Sanctuary Fund at a later date.
Again many thanks for your continued support to our projects.
